About

In partnership with SeaVuria.org, SeaVuria For Students is a categorized database of resources intended to aid student participation in SeaVuria events and projects.

As a 501(c)3 non-profit, one of SeaVuria’s mission goals is to Engage Students in real-world STEM applications. We team up local Seattle high school students with Kenyan students from our 10 partner schools and challenge them to tackle relevant global issues using science, technology, engineering and math (STEM).   With thought-provoking problems paired with diverse perspectives, students to embrace creativity and thoughtful collaboration.

SeaVuria currently has 8 Interdisciplinary Projects ready for the classroom: The Water Project, The Malaria Project, The Elephant Project, The Diabetes Project, The Antibiotic Resistance Project, The Oil Spill Project, The Sustainability Project, and the Ocean Acidification Project. As students participate in these projects, they can access web-based resources here to enhance their learning and inspire their final Call to Action projects.

In addition, SeaVuria has been hugely successful in partnering Seattle and Kenyan students together for amazing Science Fair Projects. Information, documents, resources, and highlights of past projects are now easily accessible here at SeaVuria For Students.
